Will you have the vehicle to suit my move?
Of course! We have a wide variety of different removal vehicles ranging from 3.5 ton vans to 17 ton purpose-built vans. Whether you are moving to a smaller location or a bigger place we have the vehicle that will suit your move.
How much does your removal service cost?
It is best for one of our advisers to visit your home and assess your belongings. The adviser will be able to give you a quote based on how many items you would like to be moved, what kind of van you need, if you need packaging or any other special requirements. Although one move is not the same as the next, we do offer competitive prices. Contact us for a quote today.
How do I pay?
Easy. You can pay with any major credit or debit card.
What services do you offer?
We are not just a removal company. However, we do pride ourselves in our removal services. We offer domestic, commercial and international removals. Do you only cover the North?
Not at all! We cover the whole of the UK, Europe and all over the world! We can move your belongings to any location.
Can we trust you with our belongings?
We know that your goods are precious to you – this is why we take the utmost care when handling and transporting them to your new destination. Bennetts Removals & Storage has been around for 40 years. We are an experienced removal company that trains our team to the best standard possible. You can trust us to get your belongings to you in one piece, with a smile!
How much notice do we need to give you?
Ideally UK domestic moves should be arranged between 7-14 days before the move day. For European moves we recommend at least 21 days. But we advise you give as much notice as possible so we can organise your removal day and make it run more smoothly.
Will my move be insured?
Here at Bennetts Removals & Storage, we put you first, and making sure your belongings are protected is top of the list. This is why we have standard insurance per van load. We also have insurance for European transits. Take a look at our terms and conditions for more information about our insurance policy or give us a call to discuss what we can do for you.
Will I need to organise parking for your removal van?
Yes, if parking is difficult outside your property or it is residents only. You will need to contact your local council and organise a parking suspension. Unfortunately, if any parking fines are incurred then this will be added to your bill as it is not our responsibility.
Do you offer a packaging service?
We certainly do! We have a team of packing professionals who use the best materials possible to pack your belongings safely and securely. We highly recommend using our packing service, especially if you are moving miles away or to a different country. It will protect your goods and prevent wear and tear.
Do you use contractors?
Absolutely not! For all UK and European moves, we train all of our employees and use our own equipment and vans. We strongly believe in teamwork and if we used contractors we would not be able to offer this. When you book us for your removal day you can guarantee you will be given the best Shires service because we only use our own.
Do you cater for businesses?
One of the services we offer is commercial removals. This is for businesses and companies that are moving offices. We use special equipment and materials that can transport office equipment such as, computers and photocopiers safely.
